FCD Training provides individuals with relevant skills and knowledge to assist others in planning careers and obtaining meaningful work. The FCD course will give you eligibility to the CCSP credential, developed by NCDA to provide standards, training specifications and credentialing for these career providers.

The credential is intended for providers offering career services in an array of roles and settings; such as consultants, coaches, advisors, workforce practitioners, facilitators, trainers, recruiters, and resume writers.

This multi-purpose credential includes demonstration of competence in the essential skills needed to provide career services in any setting. It is appropriate to all levels and all settings. Specific levels of educational attainment and work experience are not required.
Who is eligible for the CCSP?
Currently, those who have completed training using NCDA’s Facilitating Career Development curriculum are eligible to apply. After December 31, 2018, only the 2017 version of NCDA’s Facilitating Career Development curriculum will be accepted to apply for the credential.

Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certification is provided through the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE www.cce-global.org), a subsidiary of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC www.nbcc.org).
